The Lineup in Sweden
Last year I sent a copy of The Lineup #1 to Swedish journalist Bengt Erikkson. Richie found his review (in Swedish) yesterday, posted earlier this month.

More on Amazon Marketplace
Following user feedback, Lulu.com is now offering The Lineup #1 and #2 on Amazon.com Marketplace at the same prices available on the Lulu site itself: $6.50 for Issue 1, $6.00 for Issue 2.
I don't know yet how much revenue we'll make from copies sold via Amazon at these prices, but I'll post here as soon as I find out.

Seth Harwood Meets The Lineup
Richie and I made it to Seth Harwood's Mysterious Bookshop reading and signing of Jack Wakes Up last night. Also in attendance were Lineup 2 contributors Reed Farrel Coleman and Deshant Paul, Dave White, Jason Pinter, Megan Abbott, and several of Seth's East Coast relatives and friends.
He name-checked everyone, including the onlooking Lineup faction. Here's hoping Seth's enthusiasm and energy continue to catch on in the creative crime writing community.

Visit Gabriel CIty
Gabriel City is a community for people directly affected by our criminal justice system. I came across this great site yesterday, and it tangents our literary attempts here at The Lineup. ''Inmates and the formerly incarcerated, family members of those serving time, men and women under community supervision, professionals in criminal justice and corrections, and the victims of crime . . . support and respect each other . . . to break the endless cycle of crime and incarceration that afflicts our nation.''
While most people and many writers have the luxury of experiencing crime only through their imaginations, the people at Gabriel City have had their lives disrupted by it -- many have written their own poems. Check their Poetry & Spoken Word section if you get a chance.
Here's a sample:

Tomorrow: Seth Harwood at The Mysterious Bookshop
Richie Narvaez, Anthony Rainone, and I plan to attend Seth Harwood's reading and signing of his debut novel Jack Wakes Up at The Mysterious Bookshop tomorrow at 6:30 PM. Seth is of course the host of CrimeWAV who graciously gave The Lineup some airtime last month.
