Day 2: Diode Poetry Journal

I'm always brainstorming ideas for the annual tour. This year, I've linked to poems from across the Web in hopes the poets find my notes of appreciation and contribute to The Five-Two.

Today, from Diode Poetry Journal, "Apocalypse with Rod Serling" by Jeannine Hall Gailey (Visit the link and scroll down to the final poem.). Inspired by The Twilight Zone, it nonetheless hit home for me. I think that was the point of the show, too: seeming far-fetched so as to touch on real, timely, human concerns. —Gerald So
